FORMAT: Each
division will play in a double-elimination format (unless there are not
enough participating teams
that we make it into a round-robin format).
The

used are that of the Speedo Cup National
Championships which gives a
minimum 4 games to a maximum of 6 games
(usually to medal
contenders) throughout the weekend.
AWARDS: 15 Gold
Medals for each division
15 Silver Medals for
each division
15 Bronze Medals for
each division
7 All-Tournament Team Trophies
for each division
1 Tournament MVP Award
for each division
1 Silver glass-bottomed
Pilsner for each division’s Champion Coach
PLAYING RULES: 2011 USWP rules including:
1. All teams must meet grade
level requirement.
2. All athletes, coaches, and Clubs
must be USWP registered for 2011.
3. Teams are limited to 15
players, although we will allow more on your roster upon request, but we only
award 15 medals per team.
4. The course will be 25 yards
with wall cages, except for where floating goals are necessary.
5. The ball size for all
divisions except 10U (Size 3) will be Kap7 size 4.
6. Each team will be entitled
to two timeouts per game.
7. Ties in advancement games
outside original bracket will be played out with one sudden death overtime
period. Any remaining timeouts from the
previous four quarters can be carried over. In all medal games we will use the
two 3-minute overtime rule.
8. Ties within brackets will be
determined by “fewer goals against.”
This will keep teams from having to run-up the score. Instead, teams will focus on defense and
allowing fewer goals.
9. Code of Conduct toward
officials and Scorer’s Table Staff will be upheld.
10. Only coaches listed on your
team roster will be allowed on the bench.
11. Ejection areas are opposite
the scorer’s table, unless otherwise noted before the game.
GENERAL INFORMATION:

3. All players must wear the
